Not only G_m^, but also the formal group E^ of an elliptic curve with CM is a Lubin Tate. Confirming this is an interesting exercise.

Relationship between p-adic numbers, Furstenberg topology, and profinite completion of Z (written by a friend on the board)
(Presented in the summer of 2019 when he was a second-year university student. A proof showing the infinity of prime numbers is known, which uses the Furstenberg topology, but using this as a subject, he presented on the basics of p-adic numbers (Hensel's lemma, Hilbert symbols, the locally global principle for quadratic forms, etc.).)
